HEP-BEJUNE, University of Teacher Education operates in Switzerland within the region of the three cantons Bern, Jura and Neuchâtel as the major training institution for teachers. This paper presents some results of a European project (with the collaboration of HEP-BEJUNE) aiming to promote social inclusion through activities connected to language teaching and learning processes. A pedagogical design that enhances opportunities for language skill improvement and school-family collaboration is presented. The teaching materials used by participants have contributed in creating fruitful conditions for the acquisition of languages.
