This proposal describes the creation of four accessible informative panels for the Museum of Literature in Trieste, Italy, using an easy-to-read model of writing designed for readers with intellectual disabilities. This contribution will focus on the methods and linguistic and textual strategies adopted to write information regarding the city of Trieste and its literature in such graded text. The topic, although complex, represents one of the keys to understanding the importance of Trieste in the national and international literary landscape, the aim of such development is to make as many visitors as possible understand the museum's raison d'être. This project is also an innovative experiment in Italy where the study of literature through graded texts is still an unexplored field.
