ou comment aider les élèves marocains à apprendre le français langue étrangère ou seconde.
This article focuses on the integration of pluralistic approaches to languages and cultures into Moroccan schools (in particular uppersecondary) as well as on issues linked to this integration and its impact on the country’s linguistic and education policy. The initial development and implementation of plurilingual activities relevant to the Moroccan context within French lessons will be summarized and suggestions for further implementation and curricular change will be provided. I will also propose epistemological reflections on these approaches and will argue that plurilingualism can contribute to untangling the Moroccan linguistic situation, and that pluralistic approaches can help secondary-school students to improve their sociolinguistic competences.
