It is an open secret that the teaching of Grammar is neither a favourite topic with students nor teachers. A cognitive based Grammar instruction is considered as boring and as too difficult to be grasped. This contribution drives home that it is feasible to offer an activity-based and student-centred approach of language-teaching in which Grammar has a service-function, thus helping the students in respects to express themselves correctly even with limited language expertise. Teaching Grammar inductively includes cognitive acquisition of rules as long as the students are shown that mastering those rules helps them to achieve correct results.
