OFROM, corpus oral de français de Suisse romande: une ressource pour la recherche… et pour l’enseignement/apprentissage du français

Résumé

The aim of this paper is to offer French language teachers some instructional approaches on the use of OFROM, an online corpus of spoken French from the French-speaking region of Switzerland. The corpus data are recordings of speakers from that region and constitute a resource that is currently well-used by researchers interested in spoken French. The purpose of this contribution is to show that OFROM also offers a unique teaching resource for French teaching and learning which allows for contact with the "everyday" language spoken in this area of Switzerland.
