Abstract

The emergence of AI tools have gained much attention and contributed to language teaching and learning in various aspects. This article explores the pre-service language teachers’ use of AI tools for materials creation in their lesson plans. The results indicated several uses of AI tool, such as producing and levelling texts and creating exercises. In addition to these benefits, several challenges were also determined, including concerns regarding the quality of content and potential plagiarism.
