Hypervideos – ein spannender didaktischer Erlebnisparcours

The article presents a tool that allows creating interactive videos for language teaching and learning. Any traditional video or film can be transformed into a discovery activity by inserting interactive spots in an original video with the aim to guide students towards new knowledge. The students can work individually, manage their own rhythm and go back as often as they need to find the answers or solutions. A simple “watch the video” becomes a task-based, learner-centred activity. The tool has been developed thanks to the research & development project “Scuolavisione” conducted by a team of the Swiss Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (SFIVET) and is accessible at www.scuolavisione.ch!
